Collision Between Patrol and Cleaning Boats Near Hannam Bridge... 1 Seriously Injured

Two vessels operating on the Han River collided, resulting in one person sustaining serious injuries.

According to the Yongsan Fire Station in Seoul on the 12th, the accident occurred around 2:40 PM the previous day near the Hannam Bridge route in Yongsan-gu, where a patrol boat and a cleaning boat collided.

The driver of the cleaning boat, a man in his 40s, suffered serious injuries suspected to be a skull fracture after hitting the driver's seat due to the impact. A man in his 70s who was on the cleaning boat fell into the water but was rescued.

The Yongsan Police Station handled the accident and then transferred the case to the jurisdictional Coast Guard.
