On the 11th, VD Company and the Korea Collective Building Managers Association signed a business agreement at VD Company's headquarters in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, to jointly promote the digital transformation of collective building management. This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of collective building management based on the autonomous commercial cleaning robot 'Clever.'

Recently, the cleaning industry has been facing difficulties due to an aging workforce and labor shortages caused by rising labor costs. In response, they plan to promote the digital transformation of collective building management by simplifying and improving cleaning processes based on stable autonomous cleaning robots.

Launched last year, VD Company's 'Clever' can be used on various floor materials such as marble and carpet, and supports automatic charging and water supply. The cleaning control system and elevator boarding functions can be adjusted via a smartphone app. VD Company stated that since manual human intervention is unnecessary, the labor-saving effect is significant, and they are currently discussing business models for mass distribution with large building management companies.

Ham Pan-sik, CEO of VD Company, said, "Cleaning robots are not only about reducing labor costs but are also necessary for the safety of workers and the working environment." He added, "Based on VD Company's Clever, we will strive to achieve management efficiency and cost reduction in many collective buildings in the future."
