Cheon Haram, the proportional representative elected member of the Reform New Party, drew a line on the possibility of an alliance with the People Power Party, saying, "What could the Reform New Party possibly do together with the People Power Party? It's an impossible story."
On the 12th, Cheon appeared on MBC Radio's 'Kim Jong-bae's Focus' and emphasized, "Let me reiterate, we are a clear reform-oriented opposition party without a president, and part of the broad opposition."

Such remarks are meaningless." He continued, "The People Power Party claims to be a conservative party in words, but to cover up the truth about the Chae Sang-byeong incident, they sent a former Minister of National Defense to flee to Australia," and criticized, "They say they value law and principles, but no one properly addresses the fact that First Lady Kim Keon-hee received luxury bags."
Regarding the possibility of President Yoon Suk-yeol's government reform, he said, "If he was going to do it, he would have done it before the election," adding, "But in the end, he did not show a proper attitude of dialogue and compromise. Even before the election, I do not expect a president who does not care about the people's eyes to suddenly care after the election. Therefore, the Reform New Party will actively check the Yoon Suk-yeol administration as a clear opposition party."
With the resignation of former People Power Party emergency committee chairman Han Dong-hoon leaving the position vacant, regarding the next party leader, he predicted, "I expect figures like Representative Na Kyung-won or Ahn Cheol-soo, who take a stance against Yongsan, to actively challenge. It is reasonable to appoint a party leader with a weak Yongsan color, but I believe the person who says 'Let's protect the president' will ultimately be elected."
Regarding the Reform New Party's first bill after the opening of the 22nd National Assembly, he said, "It is still undecided which standing committee we will be assigned to," but added, "A strong push for the Satellite Party Prohibition Act, which can correct the hypocritical behavior of creating satellite parties, is absolutely necessary."
