Tourism Organization and Samsung Electronics Join Hands to Promote Walking Tours on Korea Dulle-gil Trail

The Korea Tourism Organization announced on the 11th that it has signed a business agreement with Samsung Electronics to promote walking tours linked to the Korea Dullegil and to activate Samsung Health.

Through the business agreement, the two organizations will collaborate in various fields including ▲promotion of Korea Dullegil linked with Samsung Health ▲promotion of the Korea Dullegil brand and Samsung Health using both organizations' platforms ▲analysis and utilization of walking data.

The organization has established the Korea Dullegil, a 4,500 km trail connecting the outskirts of South Korea, and is conducting various promotional marketing activities to encourage nationwide walking tours.

Through this agreement, walking content such as recommended Korea Dullegil courses will be linked to Samsung Health, and various events will be held to further activate walking tours.

Samsung Electronics operates the health management service application "Samsung Health," installed on Galaxy smartphones. It provides various services such as monthly walking challenges for users, personal exercise and body composition management, and sleep measurement.

Joo Sang-geon, head of the Leisure Tourism Team at the Korea Tourism Organization, said, "We expect to conveniently provide high-quality walking tour information to the public through this agreement," and added, "We will continue to carry out various projects to revitalize domestic tourism through walking tours."
