LIG Nex1 Hosts 'Hope Sharing' Invitation Event in Honor of Disability Month

Participation of Scheduled Disabled Employees in 'Family Day'

LIG Nex1 (CEO Shin Ik-hyun) gave a special memory to disabled trainees preparing for employment in honor of Disability Month.

On the 5th, LIG Nex1 invited about 40 disabled individuals and trainees scheduled for employment at its subsidiary, the standard workplace for the disabled ‘Boulangerie GIL,’ to the ‘LIG Nex1 Family Day’ event held at Lotte World Adventure in Seoul.

They enjoyed a pleasant time experiencing various contents at Lotte World Adventure and Seoul Sky.

Boulangerie GIL is a subsidiary-type standard workplace for the disabled established by LIG Nex1 to practice ESG management through the employment of disabled people. In August last year, LIG Nex1 signed the ‘Agreement on the Establishment of a Subsidiary-type Standard Workplace for the Disabled’ with the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled, the first in the defense industry. Disabled trainees in the barista and bakery fields are currently receiving vocational training to find employment.

LIG Nex1 has been carrying out various activities to improve awareness of disabilities and the quality of life. Since 2007, when the Korea Disabled Football Association was established, LIG Nex1, along with major affiliates of LIG, has continued to support the ‘Disabled Football Development Fund.’

LIG Nex1 and Boulangerie GIL held the 'LIG Nex1 Family Day' event on the 5th at Lotte World Adventure in Seoul.
