원본보기 아이콘The ‘Comprehensive Civil Service Evaluation,’ jointly conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, evaluates the civil service status of a total of 306 institutions annually, including central administrative agencies, local governments nationwide, and education offices, classifying them into five grades (Ga to Ma).
This year’s evaluation was based on three areas: ▲civil administration management foundation ▲civil administration activities ▲civil service performance, with five items and 20 detailed indicators.
Goseong-gun received the highest grade, ‘Ga,’ this time, rising two levels from last year. This achievement is especially meaningful as it was accomplished just a few years after receiving the lowest grade, ‘Ma,’ in 2020.
Previously, in 2022, the county was recognized for its excellence in policies such as establishing infrastructure through improvements to the civil service office environment, activating civil service consultations, and promptly handling civil complaints, being selected as an ‘Excellent One-Stop Civil Service Center’ and an ‘Excellent Civil Service Office for National Happiness.’
The special grant of 60 million KRW received from this excellent institution selection will be used to purchase integrated issuance machines and portable protective equipment for civil service staff to provide faster and more convenient civil services.
County Governor Sang-geun Lee said, “Goseong-gun is the only region in Gyeongsangnam-do to receive the ‘Ga’ grade in the Comprehensive Civil Service Evaluation,” adding, “We will continue to make every effort to provide high-quality civil services that satisfy our residents.”
