Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Kim Ikang) is recruiting residents for 'Naeun House,' a care-safe housing facility for individuals who find it difficult to return home immediately after hospital discharge.

According to Seo-gu on the 11th, this project is a short-term residential support program that allows discharged patients to live in housing with a safe care environment while effectively utilizing medical and care services.

Naeun House, located in Nongsong-dong, consists of 12 independent residential units across four floors above ground, and the first-floor community room serves as a shared space where residents and local community members can engage in various programs together.

Residents live in their own residential spaces equipped with convenience facilities and receive necessary care services such as health management by on-site staff, visiting medical care, housekeeping, meals, and mobility support.

Each unit is also equipped with an AI care system that monitors activity levels through door opening sensors and detects changes in temperature, fire, and odors with smart lighting.

The AI speaker enables two-way communication for medication and daily information guidance, and in emergencies, 119 emergency services are dispatched immediately.

Eligible residents are Seo-gu citizens who require care due to frailty, disability, illness, or accidents, have been hospitalized for more than 30 days or continuously for over three weeks within the past year, have a history of integrated care services, or need housing support due to emergency circumstances.

Additionally, those who are assessed as needing care and capable of independent living are eligible.

The lease period is six months from the contract date, during which residents pay only monthly rent and management fees without a deposit.

Those wishing to apply can contact the Smart Integrated Care Officer at Seo-gu Office for detailed information.

Yoon Jongsung, Smart Integrated Care Officer, stated, "We will do our best to help residents fully recover their health at Naeun House and return to the local community."
