Won Hee-ryong, the People Power Party candidate for Incheon Gyeyang-gu B, viewed the results of the 22nd general election exit polls by the three major terrestrial broadcasters, which showed a landslide victory for the opposition, as largely influenced by the public's desire to judge the current administration.

On the afternoon of the 10th, at his campaign office located in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon, Candidate Won said, "Although the vote counting is still underway, if the exit poll results are accurate, it seems the people see the need for more urgent checks and judgments on the administration." When asked if he expected a reversal in the election results, Candidate Won replied, "The counting is ongoing, and since new methods such as early voting and exit polls were introduced, we need to wait until the end."
He expressed gratitude, saying, "I am very thankful to everyone who did their best during the campaign period," and added, "To better serve the many people who shared the vision for the development of Gyeyang-gu and a working National Assembly, I will reflect more and strive harder." Furthermore, he stated, "Among the promises I made to the residents, I will keep all that I can."
When asked about his outlook, Candidate Won responded, "I will talk about that later."
