The company plans to foster ESG companies to revitalize the stagnant regional economy.
Through this agreement, Lotte Card's ESG campaign 'ThinkUs' and Seoul City's support project 'Next Local' will collaborate. Since 2022, Lotte Card has supported the promotion and marketing of ESG companies through the ThinkUs campaign. Next Local is a regionally linked support project that has been supporting youth startups since 2019.
Both organizations plan to jointly provide startup and management expert consulting, promotion and marketing, and market expansion to ESG companies engaged in regional linked projects. They also plan to host and operate various events and promotions involving ESG companies.
Jung Dong-hoon, Head of Strategy at Lotte Card, stated, “Lotte Card has spared no effort to help small companies that change the world grow significantly through the ESG campaign ThinkUs and the ESG company support program 'ThinkUs Partners.' We plan to explore various collaboration opportunities to nurture ESG companies that create added value in the regional economy together with the Seoul Metropolitan Government.”
