On the same day, Deputy Prime Minister Choi made these remarks during a live broadcast titled "Innovation in Work Methods" for Ministry of Strategy and Finance employees. He explained that they are preparing a support system that allows employees to focus solely on their essential tasks. First, the research team plans to build a system within 2 to 3 months that archives work-related materials and manages them in an integrated manner.

Deputy Prime Minister Choi said, "If someone does not systematically archive, it is difficult for each person to accumulate materials," adding, "We will enable searching for necessary materials and statistics from each division and bureau." He further added, "Although it may be difficult to provide full support such as professionally creating PPTs like in the private sector, we plan to jointly operate a system that can assist as much as possible when a draft is prepared." The distribution of 'Onbook' laptops will also be expanded. Onbook is a laptop used by public officials or public institution employees during business trips or telecommuting. Ministry staff must work in the office due to security reasons, but using Onbook allows them to handle work outside the office. The Ministry of Strategy and Finance plans to distribute Onbooks so that all employees can have one by March next year.

Opportunities for Ministry employees to participate in training programs offered by private consulting firms will also increase. Deputy Prime Minister Choi stated, "Junior-level employees will be able to participate in McKinsey's 'Problem-Solving Training Course' to receive substantial education," and added, "Managers will be able to receive speech training for briefings and other purposes."

Support for networking to improve work capabilities will also be expanded. Since it has become difficult for public officials to interact with the private sector after relocating to the Sejong Government Complex, measures will be prepared to support this. He said, "Not only managers but also section chiefs will be actively supported by the organization when they want to hold meetings on their own," and added, "We will help create personal think tanks by field."
