A public opinion poll revealed that President Yoon Suk-yeol's approval rating for his administration has risen for the first time in six weeks. Although approval declined in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam (PK), as well as Daegu and Gyeongbuk (TK), it improved in the Seoul metropolitan area and other regions.

President Yoon, whose approval had risen due to reform issues such as increasing medical school admissions, experienced a decline in support due to fatigue from the prolonged issue. However, recent efforts such as meeting with the president of the Resident Doctors Association appear to have been effective.

President Yoon's approval rating rose in Incheon and Gyeonggi (up 4.8 percentage points, from 33.3% to 38.1%) and Seoul (up 3.3 percentage points, from 35.1% to 38.4%). Conversely, it declined in Daegu and Gyeongbuk (down 4.9 percentage points, from 55.2% to 50.3%) and Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam (down 2.8 percentage points, from 43.5% to 40.7%), where it had previously been high.

Party approval ratings and other related data were not released due to the election-related public opinion poll blackout period.
