Han Donghoon: "We Cannot Entrust the Country to Those Accused of Crimes"

On April 7, Han Donghoon, Chairman of the Emergency Response Committee and Chief Election Campaign Committee of the People Power Party, visited Nonsan, Chungnam, and stated, "We cannot entrust the country to those accused of crimes."

During a focused campaign at Naedong Park in Nonsan on the same day, Chairman Han said, "Those accused of crimes will manipulate the country to protect themselves," adding, "In that process, the foundations we have built so far will collapse."

He continued, "So many people have contributed their hard work, sacrifice, tears, and sweat for the development of this country," emphasizing, "We are facing a crisis where the country could collapse in an instant."

He argued, "Those accused of crimes are people who, if it helps them avoid punishment, would use anything, regardless of the national interest, including the core of the South Korea-U.S. alliance and diplomatic interests."

He went on to say, "We cannot entrust the country to such people. Is there any criminal that Park Sungkyu and I need to protect?" He criticized, "Those people are gathered together because they need to protect criminals among themselves. It's almost astonishing how they have all come together."

He concluded, "We have no criminals to protect, but we do have citizens and a country to defend," appealing, "Please allow us to protect you."
