Handonghun: "Lee Jaemyung Pretends to Eat Samgyeopsal Without Eating... Lies Every Time He Opens His Mouth"

Han Dong-hoon, Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, criticized Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, on the 7th, saying, "He always lies whenever he opens his mouth."

At a concentrated rally at Noeun Station Square in Daejeon that day, Chairman Han pointedly asked, "Why do you insist on pretending to eat samgyeopsal instead of actually eating it?"

The day before, there were criticisms online that although Lee had eaten beef after the election rally, he posted on social media as if he had eaten samgyeopsal. Chairman Han pointed out this issue.

Chairman Han said, "The leader uses the corporate card to buy an enormous amount of fruit, uses Japanese shampoo, even uses the corporate card for their ancestral rites. I keep talking about these things, but they don't sue me," adding, "They don't even utter a word." He explained the reason, saying, "If I talk about it now, it would be a violation of election law," and "It's because they are lying."

Regarding Cho Kuk, leader of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party, he said, "Did Cho Kuk get falsely accused? Cho Kuk committed a crime. He knows it himself. Yet he says he will take revenge. He said he would return the Woongdong Foundation, but is he responding to that?" He raised his voice, asking, "Are we going to make such hypocrisy the standard of our lives?"

In particular, Chairman Han pointed out the Democratic Party's moral issues by citing past remarks of Kim Jun-hyuk, the Democratic Party candidate for Suwon City Council, who was embroiled in a controversy over offensive remarks. He said, "Even if I get dirty, I came out prepared to roll in the mud on your behalf," and added, "He talked about King Jeongjo, saying 'Because the size didn't fit, somewhere got infected.' This was not said in a drinking party but on a public broadcast," he pointed out. He continued, "He indiscriminately spewed obscene language in a funnel-like manner without context, forcing people to listen, and enjoyed watching their expressions," and also said, "Isn't this a sexual perversion?"

Meanwhile, he also urged attention to the difference between 'fifty steps' and 'a hundred steps' in policy. He said, "In policy, is it 'fifty steps, a hundred steps'? The difference between fifty steps and a hundred steps is fifty steps," adding, "If you dismiss the difference between fifty steps and a hundred steps as insignificant and lump them together as the same, you will face worse politics. Recognizing the difference of fifty steps is how the country develops."
