On this day, 99 finalists from 34 teams gathered at LG Inhwa-won. These participants advanced to the finals after completing the 'AI Expert Training Course' among 3,000 participants in the 4th session held in the first half of this year and achieving excellent results in the month-long online preliminary hackathon.

The hackathon challenge was to develop an AI model that selects potential customers with a high likelihood of actual purchase by utilizing potential customer data. LG provided real industrial field data owned by its affiliates to help the participating youths gain practical experience.

LG also held a 'Recruitment Fair' for the finalists, involving seven affiliates including LG AI Research Institute, LG Electronics, and LG Energy Solution. At this event, participants were offered one-on-one customized consultation services with recruitment specialists and the opportunity to register in the LG AI talent pool, which allows priority consideration during hiring.

An LG official said, "We will continue to support young people aspiring to become AI experts to grow into practical talents through LG Aimers."

LG Aimers is open to any youth aged 19 to 29 who possess basic AI knowledge and coding skills. Considering academic schedules, the program is held twice a year during summer and winter vacations. LG exempts the top three award-winning teams, including the Grand Prize (Minister of Employment and Labor Award) and the Excellence Award (LG AI Research Institute Director Award), from document screening when applying for jobs. To date, 9,193 youths have participated in LG Aimers.
