Supporters can be any youth aged between 18 and 39 who are interested in youth policies and promotional activities, and 30 people will be selected through document screening.

They can promote youth policies in various fields such as jobs and startups, housing, education, culture and welfare, vitality, participation, and growth through blogs and social networking services (SNS), or engage in activities such as participating in various youth events, sharing impressions after visiting youth spaces, and interviewing officials from related organizations.

The activity period is about seven months, from May to November. Participants will receive individual activity fees and youth activity mileage, and can participate in various programs such as on-site visits to youth policy locations and capacity-building academies.

All participants will receive an activity fee of 200,000 KRW and ‘Youth Activity Mileage’ based on their promotional achievements. The ‘Youth Activity Mileage’ system has been introduced for the first time this year.

There are also programs for on-site visits to local policy sites and academies to strengthen participants’ promotional capabilities, and outstanding participants will be awarded the Busan Mayor’s Award.

More detailed information such as application methods and schedules can be found in the announcements on the Busan Youth Center website, and any other inquiries can be directed to the Busan Youth Center.

Applicants can download the form from the Busan Youth Center website and apply via email within the recruitment period.

Nam Jeong-eun, the city’s Youth Industry-Academic Policy Officer, said, “Various youth policies are being promoted by different organizations, but we plan to strengthen youth policy promotion to prevent cases where young people miss out on support because they are unaware or miss the application period.” He added, “Especially this year, we are planning various new promotional strategies such as establishing an AI-based customized youth policy search service and expanding pre-notification text message services, so we ask for the active interest and participation of young people.”
