At 5:50 PM (Korean time) that day, the UK FTSE index was at 7,896.17, down 1.0% from the previous trading day.
The French CAC index fell 1.43% to 8,033.31, and the German DAX index traded at 18,120.25, down 1.48% from the previous trading day.
