Suhyup Central Association and Sh Suhyup Bank Donate 300 Million KRW Development Fund to National Pukyong University

The National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives and Sh Suhyup Bank donated 300 million KRW in development funds to Pukyong National University on the 5th.

At the development fund delivery ceremony held in the president's office on the 3rd floor of the university headquarters of Pukyong National University that morning, Chairman Nodongjin and Bank President Kang Shinsook handed over 300 million KRW to President Jang Youngsoo.

Since 1994, Suhyup Bank has been delivering development funds to Pukyong National University every year, and in 2011, it signed a main banking agreement and expanded its development fund donations, supporting the innovation and development of Pukyong National University annually.

Suhyup Bank is strengthening industry-academia cooperation with Pukyong National University, supporting university development, fostering outstanding talents in the fisheries and marine fields, and research. Graduates of Pukyong National University are advancing into national marine fisheries institutions, related organizations, shipping, and other fields, leading the development of Korea's marine fisheries sector.

This year, marking the 100th anniversary of its founding, Pukyong National University plans to use the development funds for fostering outstanding talents, supporting academic research projects, improving university facilities, and for the university's new leap and development.
