Sungkyunkwan University decided to open the campus parking lots to arboretum visitors only on weekends and public holidays when the campus parking is not crowded, as part of coexistence and cooperation with the local community.
The parking lot to be opened this time is the one next to the university main gate, which is the closest to Ilwol Arboretum, and the parking fee will be applied the same as the arboretum parking lot. If the space in this parking lot is insufficient, other campus parking areas can also be used.
Yoo Ji-beom, President of Sungkyunkwan University, said, “We hope that opening the parking lot will alleviate the parking inconvenience for visitors to Ilwol Arboretum,” and added, “We will continue to seek various ways to coexist with the local community.”
