KB Kookmin Bank and Shinsegae Duty Free announced on the 5th that they have signed a business agreement (MOU) to collaborate on services for overseas travel customers.
The business agreement ceremony held at the new building of KB Kookmin Bank in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, was attended by Yang Hojin, Executive Director of Shinsegae DF, Park Byunggon, Vice President of KB Kookmin Bank Corporate Customer Group, Lee Sangshin, Head of Foreign Exchange Business Division of KB Kookmin Bank Corporate Customer Group, and officials from both companies.
Through this agreement, both companies plan to provide high-quality services by combining finance and duty-free shopping. In line with this business agreement, KB Kookmin Bank will offer special benefits at Shinsegae Duty Free to KB Star Club customers who have exchanged currency within the last six months until the end of June.
KB Star Club VVIP customers will receive Shinsegae Duty Free BLACK grade status and up to 750,000 KRW in online and offline discounts. VIP customers can enjoy the Shinsegae Duty Free BLACK PASS (60-day trial) and up to 480,000 KRW in online and offline discounts. Customers other than VVIP and VIP will also receive Shinsegae Duty Free GOLD grade status along with discounts up to 420,000 KRW.
Additionally, from the 8th to May 10th, a currency exchange event for Shinsegae Duty Free customers will be held. Customers who present a same-day purchase receipt from Shinsegae Duty Free and exchange more than 50,000 KRW at the KB Kookmin Bank currency exchange booth in the Incheon International Airport duty-free zone will receive Star Friends travel items, limited to the first 1,000 customers.
