"Support for Small Business Startups, Growth, and Recovery"…SBC and Korea Polytechnics Join Hands

The Small Enterprise and Market Service (SEMAS) has partnered with Korea Polytechnics to strengthen the capabilities of small business owners.

On the 5th, SEMAS announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Korea Polytechnics on the 4th at Korea Polytechnics in Incheon to support the startup, growth, and recovery of small business owners.

Going forward, SEMAS and Korea Polytechnics will collaborate to provide services such as ‘support for small business owners in prototype design and production,’ ‘specialized technical courses for small business owners who have closed or are planning to close their businesses,’ ‘vocational training support for small business owners through support projects operated by both organizations,’ and ‘educational programs for startup, growth, and recovery.’

In particular, SEMAS will provide its ‘Small Business Support Centers’ as training locations for the ‘Small-scale Workplace Training,’ a customized on-site technical guidance service. They also plan to actively promote Korea Polytechnics’ education and facilities and guide participation in projects to increase engagement among small business owners.

Park Seong-hyo, Director of SEMAS, said, “Based on the human and material resources possessed by both organizations, we will spare no effort to help small business owners strengthen their capabilities and continuously secure sales and customers.”

SEMAS plans to expand the MOU to include its 7 regional headquarters (77 centers) and Korea Polytechnics’ 8 colleges (35 campuses) to enhance customized on-site policy support by region.
