Hana Bank announced on the 3rd that it has opened 'Hana Infinity Seoul' at its Euljiro headquarters in Seoul.

According to Hana Bank, 'Hana Infinity Seoul' is the largest dealing room in Korea, covering 2,096㎡ (approximately 634 pyeong) with 126 seats. The name reflects Hana Bank's leadership in the foreign exchange market through various capital transactions such as foreign exchange, derivatives, and securities, symbolizing "infinite growth through global expansion beyond Korea." The bank stated that it was created as an innovative space centered on cutting-edge infrastructure to operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Hana Bank plans to establish a fund center in London, UK, in the second half of the year, staffed with about 10 specialists, and subsequently build a global hub connecting Seoul, Singapore, and New York to actively discover and expand the demand for Korean won from foreign companies and investment institutions.

Hahm Young-joo, Chairman of Hana Financial Group, said, "The opening of this new dealing room will be an opportunity to enhance Hana Bank's greatest strength, 'foreign exchange competitiveness,' by creating an environment optimized for 24-hour trading beyond a simple physical relocation." He added, "We will do our best to contribute to the development of Korea's capital market and financial industry, including expanding global FX (foreign exchange) platform services and foreign investors' Korean won investment services."

Meanwhile, the opening ceremony was attended by Financial Services Commission Chairman Kim Ju-hyun, Financial Supervisory Service Governor Lee Bok-hyun, HD Hyundai Chairman Kwon Oh-gap, Chairman Hahm, and CEOs of group affiliates.
