GH Signs Agreement with Pureunnamu Foundation to Prevent Cyber School Violence... 120 Million Won Support Provided

Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) signed a social contribution business agreement on the 3rd with the youth violence prevention specialized organization, the ‘Pureunnamu Foundation,’ to prevent youth cyber school violence.


According to the agreement, GH will support 120 million KRW in funds for cyber violence prevention education activities at 100 elementary schools in the province to ensure children can grow up in a safe environment.


GH will particularly dispatch its employees as assistant instructors for the Gyeonggi-do youth cyber violence prevention education project, starting with Dasan Garam Elementary School in Namyangju City.

Park Gil-seong, Chairman of the Pureunnamu Foundation, stated, "We expect this to become a model of community contribution activities that presents new urban and residential spaces to create a livable Gyeonggi-do where both children and parents are happy."


Kim Se-yong, President of GH, promised, "For children to grow up safely and healthily, the facility environment is important, but establishing a healthy local culture is also necessary. We will strive to create a culture of prevention based on schools so that children can grow up in a safe environment."


GH is conducting various social contribution activities such as children’s cultural heritage experience programs, scholarship projects for high school students, and support for youth preparing for independence to provide diverse opportunities for children and adolescents who will lead future generations.


Starting with this school violence prevention education social contribution, GH plans to actively promote life-cycle social contribution projects that proactively address social structural issues such as low birth rates and protection of vulnerable groups.
