Mirae Asset Park Hyun-joo Foundation 'My Own Book Dream Space' Support Project Participant Institutions Recruitment

The Mirae Asset Park Hyun-joo Foundation announced on the 3rd that it is recruiting participating organizations for the ‘2024 My Own Book Dream Space Support Project.’

The My Own Book Dream Space Support Project is a program that gifts personalized reading spaces to the homes of children and adolescents using social welfare facilities. The purpose is to help children feel closer to books and enjoy the benefits and pleasures of reading.

The Mirae Asset Park Hyun-joo Foundation will accept applications from organizations wishing to participate until the 19th. Detailed information about the project and application methods can be found on the foundation’s website.

After recruiting participating organizations, the Mirae Asset Park Hyun-joo Foundation will deliver a package to the children containing a wooden bookshelf, a mini signboard engraved with their name, and recommended books tailored to their age, interests, and reading level, along with books they personally wish to have. To further enhance their interest in books, a post-reading activity kit will be provided to help foster positive reading habits.

A representative of the Mirae Asset Park Hyun-joo Foundation said, "We have heard many stories about how the process of personally selecting books and creating their own bookshelf has increased children’s attachment to and interest in books," adding, "Through the Book Dream Space project, we hope children will encounter a variety of books, acquire new knowledge, expand their experiences, and nurture their dreams."
