The in-house counsel organization ‘In-House Counsel Forum (IHCF·Chairman Park Cheol-young)’ is conducting a practical training program called ‘2024 In-House 101’ for domestic and international in-house counsel members with 1 to 5 years of experience.
IHCF’s ‘In-House 101’ is an educational program that provides core knowledge and skills necessary for performing in-house counsel duties through offline lectures. This training program is held over four Saturdays starting from the 23rd of last month, covering a total of eight topics.
The lecture topics include ▲Career Development and Management ▲Roles and Work Practices of In-House Counsel ▲Contract Practice ▲Labor Law ▲Institutional Response ▲Legal Research ▲Corporate Governance ▲Litigation Management.
The first class of ‘2024 In-House 101,’ held on the 23rd of last month in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, was attended by about 30 people. Foreign attorney Park Seon-jeong and attorney Cho Dae-hwan (58·Judicial Research and Training Institute class 26) gave lectures on ‘Career Development and Management’ and ‘Contract Practice,’ respectively.
Foreign attorney Park Seon-jeong explained the role of in-house counsel, strategies for building a successful career, and the necessary competencies. Attorney Cho explained the structure of various types of contracts and highlighted clauses to be cautious about, helping in-house counsel develop more professional and efficient contract drafting skills.
