On the 1st, the Hapcheon County Council in Gyeongnam awarded appointment letters to four members of the 2023 fiscal year settlement inspection committee, who were approved at the 278th Hapcheon County Council extraordinary session.

The council appointed Councilor Jeong Bong-hoon as the representative member of the 2023 fiscal year settlement inspection committee, along with members Seok Man-jin, Park Sang-hyun, and Lee Deok-gu, forming a total of four members. The committee members will be active from the 1st to the 20th.

Representative member Councilor Jeong Bong-hoon stated, “We will focus on thoroughly analyzing the details of Hapcheon County’s 2023 expenditure execution, continuing expenses, carryover funds, financial statements, and other major financial operations, and faithfully reflect these in the settlement inspection report.”

Chairman Jo Sam-sul said, “Considering the current situation where local finances are becoming increasingly difficult, the role of the settlement inspection committee members is more important than ever,” and added, “I ask you to carefully analyze the status of local finances based on your abundant administrative experience and legislative capabilities.”
