Since 2022, Yeongdeok County has been actively investing and promoting wellness tourism and the healing industry, working together with Gyeongbuk Province to hold the International Wellness Experience Festa, anticipating high potential in these sectors.
Next, Governor Kim encouraged the achievements and efforts of the employees who secured national funds by being selected for the Gyeongbuk-style Village Forest Garden Creation Contest and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Regional Tourism Promotion Organization Contest last month, and ordered that in response to the reduction of local allocation tax due to the government's sound fiscal policy, more proactive strategies for securing national funds should be established and implemented, and that financial efficiency should be enhanced through prompt execution.
Finally, Governor Kim urged everyone to do their best to expand the hometown love donation system with a target of 10,000 donors, emphasizing that through the hometown love donation system, not only can financial resources be secured, but it also serves as an effective opportunity to widely promote the excellence of local agricultural products, thereby achieving market expansion and added value creation for farmers.
Governor Kim Gwang-yeol said, “As it approaches two years since my inauguration, I feel pride and great fulfillment seeing employees demonstrate results and grow in their work,” and encouraged, “As you strive and contribute to the development of our county, we will reward your efforts and achievements for the public good by providing various incentives according to your performance.”
