Suwon City to Operate 'Gongyeong Bicycle Rental Stations' Starting from the 1st of This Month

The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will operate public bicycle rental stations from the 1st of this month until November 30th.

The public bicycle rental stations are located in Haenggung-dong (Hwaseong Haenggung Plaza) and Gwanggyosan (bus terminal, next to the Firefly Rest Area).

The Hwaseong Haenggung Plaza bicycle rental station operates daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., while the Gwanggyosan bicycle rental station operates on weekends (Saturday to Sunday) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Users can rent bicycles by presenting an ID card, and the fee is 1,000 KRW per use. Payment can be made by cash or card.

A Suwon city official stated, "We will prepare to ensure convenient use for citizens," and urged, "Please use bicycles, an eco-friendly mode of transportation, frequently."
