Kim Byung-hwan, the 1st Vice Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, said on the 26th, "Apple prices have started to decline since mid-this month."
On the same day, Vice Minister Kim visited the Agricultural Product Distribution Center (APC) in Boeun, Chungbuk, and stated, "This is the result of the government's swift implementation of support for delivery prices and expanded discounts to stabilize agricultural product prices."
Vice Minister Kim checked the apple storage volume and shipment trends and listened to on-site voices regarding the fruit distribution structure. He urged the center to ensure that the quantities held are supplied without any disruption. The center responded that they will continue supply according to the monthly shipment plan until July, when new apples are available.
