KRM Partners with S-1 System to Participate in AW 2024

KR M Co., Ltd. announced on the 26th that it will participate in the 2024 Smart Factory & Automation Industry Exhibition (hereinafter ‘AW2024’) together with Snet System.

AW2024 (Automation World 2024) is Asia’s representative smart factory and automation industry exhibition, held for three days from the 27th to the 29th at COEX.

KR M, together with Snet System, plans to showcase an industrial safety management solution by utilizing communication equipment and video analysis solutions on the quadruped walking robot ‘Vision 60’ at this exhibition.

KR M and Snet System have completed all preparations to demonstrate to visitors and customers that high-quality wireless service can be provided without data interruption even in environments using mobile equipment. Additionally, Snet System’s video analysis solution ‘AI-safeguard’ will also be linked at this exhibition.

Snet System’s ‘AI-safeguard’ is a safety management solution that detects risk factors in the work environment and protects workers through integrated monitoring of industrial environments. This solution is expected to create great synergy with KR M’s quadruped walking robot ‘Vision 60’.

The industrial site footage captured in real-time by the five RGB cameras installed on the quadruped walking robot is analyzed through Snet System’s solution, making it easier to manage safety in industrial sites using robots by recognizing nearby people and checking whether safety helmets are worn. In particular, the robot body can carry up to 10kg, allowing additional sensors, cameras, and other equipment to be mounted for various purposes.

A KR M official said, “We are pleased to participate in AW2024, Asia’s largest automation industry exhibition, with a great partner like Snet System,” and added, “Through the synergy between our quadruped walking robot Vision 60 and Snet System’s safety management solution at this exhibition, we will show the future of safety management in industrial sites.”
