The National Credit Union Federation of Korea announced on the 26th that it has donated 400 million KRW to the Korea National Council on Social Welfare to promote the 'MG Dream House' project.

'MG Dream House' is a future generation support project by the National Credit Union Federation of Korea, aimed at improving small-scale communal facilities called 'group homes' where children and adolescents in need of residential facilities can live together, and supporting the independent living of youth. The project improves the living environment of aging group homes and conducts career education to help youth achieve stable independence, promoting various activities for the successful self-reliance of children and adolescents.

This project is a social contribution model in collaboration between the National Credit Union Federation of Korea and credit unions nationwide. When the National Credit Union Federation of Korea improves the group home residential facilities, nearby credit unions that have a one-on-one partnership with each group home provide follow-up support. Follow-up support includes financial education and basic welfare programs for resident children and adolescents. 'MG Dream House' is now in its fourth year, and this year it plans to support 12 group homes and 50 youth preparing for independence.

Kim In, Chairman of the National Credit Union Federation of Korea, said, "Through the MG Dream House project, we hope that the future generation leading Korea can grow their dreams healthily and happily," adding, "Going forward, the National Credit Union Federation of Korea and credit unions will continue to realize their identity as cooperatives through sharing and coexistence, focusing on areas in need within local communities."
