The People Power Party announced policies to overcome the low birthrate crisis, including exemption from university tuition fees and changes to the criteria for multiple children.

Han Dong-hoon, the emergency committee chairman and overall election committee chairman of the People Power Party, held a central election countermeasure meeting on the 25th at the Hanyang University Alumni Hall in Seoul, stating, "We will fully exempt university tuition fees for all children in households with three or more children," and "We will also consider gradually expanding (tuition exemption) to households with two or more children."

The People Power Party also decided to abolish the income criteria for low birthrate policies. Chairman Han said, "Due to the government's income criteria related to marriage, childbirth, and child-rearing, dual-income couples are excluded from support or even avoid marriage to receive government assistance," adding, "In an era when we should support dual-income couples, discriminating against them is not a desirable policy." He further stated, "We will also abolish income criteria for essential policies such as infertility support and childcare services."

The criteria for multiple children will be uniformly changed from the current three children to two children. Chairman Han said, "As the total fertility rate indicates, it is difficult to have even one child, so it is time to uniformly set the multiple children criteria to two children," and "The People Power Party will expand regional heating cost reductions such as electricity and city gas, which currently support only households with three or more children, to those with two children." He added, "We will also expand multiple children support linked with the Ministry of Health and Welfare's multiple children card to include public transportation and agricultural product discounts."

They also plan to push for a legal amendment to mandate flexible working hours for parents in the childcare period. Chairman Han said, "To raise children well and prevent career breaks, it is important to have an environment where flexible work is possible during the childcare period," and "We promise to pursue a legal amendment to mandate flexible working hours, which have high demand from parents and low burden on companies."
