Musinsa, participating in this event, is an online and offline fashion platform that sells and showcases products reflecting the latest fashion trends, currently the most prominent fashion brand in Korea.

In celebration of Family Month and Parents’ Day, this event invites stories about ‘precious people to me’ such as parents and grandparents who have shared moments with Busan. Among the submissions, five will be selected to receive an opportunity for a Musinsa photo shoot for their precious person and two meal vouchers for a ‘2024 Michelin-starred restaurant.’

The city organized this collaboration event with Musinsa to expand communication-centered content that citizens can participate in.

The theme of the photo shoot is ‘Youth.’ Busan City introduces a new content attempt to record in photos the message that ‘the life lived, and this very moment, are also youth’ for senior citizens who are the true source of Busan’s ‘HIP’ spirit.

In particular, the photo shoot will take place at various locations around Busan where the protagonists have lived their lives, capturing the diverse charms of Busan in the photo collection.

The shooting will be conducted in the 3rd and 4th weeks of April, with specific schedules notified individually. Among the photos taken, the A-cut photos will be provided framed, and snap photos will also be taken with the story applicants.

Additionally, to allow the story applicants and protagonists to spend precious time together, two meal vouchers for a ‘2024 Michelin-starred restaurant’ will be provided as a gift for ‘happier times together.’

Story submissions can be made through the link posted on the city’s official social media (SNS). There are no eligibility restrictions for the story applicants such as children, grandchildren, or acquaintances, but the protagonist of the story must be 60 years or older.

The city’s official social media channels are the official Instagram and the official YouTube channel, BusanTube.

The stories should include narratives about ‘precious people to me’ who have grown up in Busan, stories about building a family and living in Busan, or special memories with family in Busan, regardless of theme or format, as long as they involve experiences with Busan.

The photo shoots will be showcased through the city’s official social media and the Busan City Newsletter, starting with the first release on May 8th, and will be composed of a total of five content pieces released sequentially.

Also, the entire photo shoot process will be produced as a video and released through the city’s official SNS and the official YouTube channel ‘BusanTube.’

Kim Jae-hak, the city spokesperson, said, “We ask for much interest in this photo shoot that will show the wonderful transformation of parents and the diverse charms of Busan,” adding, “We hope that the protagonists and applicants of the selected stories will take this event as an opportunity to once again remember ‘Today’s Youth.’ Our city will continue to expand communication-centered content that citizens can participate in and strive to realize Busan as a city where citizens are happy.”
