Cho Kuk: "Yoon Administration Will Fail Because of 'Daepa,' Not Left or Right"

Jo Guk, leader of the Jo Guk Innovation Party, strongly criticized, saying, "The Yoon Seok-yeol administration will fail not because of the left or right, but because of the green onion."

On the 24th, at the founding convention of the Jo Guk Innovation Party Daejeon City Party held in Daejeon, Leader Jo said, "It is truly shameful and embarrassing that the president believes that a bunch of green onions costs 875 won and calls that a reasonable price." He brought up the controversy again, which arose recently when President Yoon stated in front of the green onion sales stand at Hanaro Mart Yangjae branch in Seocho-gu, Seoul, "Still, 875 won for a bunch of green onions is a reasonable price."

Leader Jo also responded to Han Dong-hoon, the emergency committee chairman of the People Power Party, who referred to the Jo Guk Innovation Party as an 'extreme force,' saying, "This election is an election to extremely judge the Yoon Seok-yeol administration," and appealed, "To do so, party members must extremely support the Jo Guk Innovation Party in this election."

Regarding the founding of the Daejeon City Party, he said, "Now our party has established eight city and provincial parties nationwide," adding, "Party members have already rallied in both Honam and Gyeongsang, east and west, and now a central axis has been formed." He emphasized, "Daejeon and Chungcheong residents must become the center of a wavering Republic of Korea."

As of that day, the Jo Guk Innovation Party Daejeon City Party had 3,163 members, and Representative Hwang Un-ha, who left the Democratic Party of Korea to join the Jo Guk Innovation Party, was elected as the first city party chairman. After the founding ceremony, Leader Jo, the party leadership, and proportional representation candidates planned to move to Cheongju, Chungbuk, to meet supporters.
