On the 23rd, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, "Our government extends deep condolences to the families of the victims of the horrific terrorist attack that took place at the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Moscow."
It added, "We hope that a swift investigation will clearly reveal those responsible for this incident."
Earlier, on the 22nd (local time), a shooting terrorist attack occurred at a concert hall in Moscow, Russia, resulting in at least 62 deaths and over 140 injuries.
According to foreign news agencies including TASS, armed assailants stormed the Crocus City Hall concert hall that day and opened fire on the audience.
Among the deceased were children, and some of the injured who were transported to hospitals are reported to be in critical condition.
This incident is expected to be recorded as the worst terrorist attack in Russia since the Beslan elementary school hostage crisis in 2004, which resulted in over 300 deaths during clashes between Chechen rebels and Russian forces.
