The three major indices of the U.S. New York stock market all closed higher on the 21st (local time).
On that day at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.68% compared to the previous trading day to close the session. The large-cap focused S&P 500 index and the tech-heavy Nasdaq index closed up 0.32% and 0.2%, respectively, compared to the previous day.
