The Jinhae Gunhangje Festival in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, considered Korea's representative cherry blossom festival, is set to open with a pre-festival event on the night of the 22nd.

This year's Jinhae Gunhangje Festival will be held from March 23 to April 1 around Jungwon Rotary in Jinhae-gu, Changwon City, featuring events such as the Yeojwacheon Starlight Festival, Jinhaeru Marine Fireworks Show, Admiral Yi Sun-sin Memorial Ceremony and Victory Parade, Song Festival, Black Eagles Air Show, and Military Music and Ceremony Festival.

Before and after the festival period, visitors are expected to flock not only to the festival site but also to cherry blossom spots throughout Jinhae, including Gyeonghwa Station, Yeojwacheon Stream, Jinhae Inland Water Ecological Park, Jangbok Mountain Park, Anmin Road, Jehwangsan Park, Naval Jinhae Base Command, and the Korea Naval Academy.
