Tenants who have received a notice of non-recognition or have been determined as victims of jeonse fraud can file an appeal, and even if the appeal is dismissed, they can seek relief through reapplication if circumstances change in the future.
Tenants facing difficulties due to jeonse fraud can apply for victim determination at the city or provincial office with jurisdiction over their residence. Once determined as victims through the committee’s resolution, they can receive guidance on support measures through the Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) Jeonse Damage Support Center (in-person and phone) and its branches (in-person).
