DK Asia transformed Baekseok Bridge into a representative landmark of Seo-gu, Incheon by installing specialized landscape lighting along a 4km section covering Baekseok Bridge and Bongsu-daero.

After the residents moved into Geomam Station Royal Park City last September, DK Asia completely replaced the 1.6km section of Baekseok Bridge and the 2.4km section of Bongsu-daero with its self-developed 'Signature LED Streetlights' to create a safer and more attractive urban landscape. They also announced plans to replace the design-specialized retaining walls and street trees by the end of March, timed with the cherry blossom season, a symbol of spring.

To create a city of light, DK Asia collaborated with Seo-gu Office (Seo-gu Mayor Kang Beom-seok) to fully replace urban infrastructure such as streetlights and street trees, which had previously been managed only by local governments, thereby establishing a city of light flowing with multicolored illumination. Specialized landscape lighting was also applied to the four main towers and wires of Baekseok Bridge, transforming it into the most beautiful Baekseok Bridge in South Korea.

For the first time in South Korea, a private company, rather than a local government, has developed urban infrastructure for local residents, expanding its positive influence within the industry.

First, to create a special city of light, DK Asia completely replaced the streetlights along the 1.6km section of Baekseok Bridge leading into Royal Park City with 'Signature LED Streetlights.' These Signature LED Streetlights are high-end specialized infrastructure designed and manufactured by DK Asia as the first arch-shaped streetlights in Korea.

While streetlights are typically installed to illuminate streets and facilitate smooth traffic flow, DK Asia’s fully replaced 'Signature LED Streetlights' not only fulfill their original function but also provide aesthetically beautiful and dazzling light, offering a differentiated landscape for Korea’s resort cities.

Additionally, specialized landscape lighting was installed on the four main towers of Baekseok Bridge and the wires connecting them, making it a bridge that boasts a night view even more beautiful than Seoul’s World Cup Bridge. Especially when departing from Incheon Airport and passing through the dark Airport Expressway, the dazzling lights of Geomam Station Royal Park City and Baekseok Bridge catch the eyes of both foreigners and locals visiting Korea, like a gateway to the country. Following that light to Cheongna IC, from the moment you enter the Baekseok Bridge entrance, you encounter a unique city of light flowing with multicolored illumination, presenting the magnificent night view exclusive to Royal Park City.

Just as the Gwangandaegyo Bridge in Gwangalli, Busan, increased regional value and greatly contributed to local economic revitalization by installing landscape lighting, the once ordinary Baekseok Bridge is also expected to be reborn as the most beautiful scenic spot in South Korea through symbolic landscape lighting that illuminates the resort city with multicolored lights.

Moreover, the 2.4km section of Bongsu-daero leading from Geomam Station Royal Park City, the first resort city in South Korea, to Wanggil Station Royal Park City was also completely replaced with more grand and dazzling 'Signature LED Streetlights.'

Along with this, DK Asia applied its unique design specialization to the retaining walls to improve the cityscape, and street trees such as the Ipop tree, which has beautiful white flowers, and the royal cherry tree, which blooms pure white flowers in spring, will be planted by the end of March to enhance the road and urban aesthetics, making the cityscape more beautiful and vibrant.

Kim Jeong-mo, Chairman of DK Asia, said, “We completely replaced the streetlights installed on Baekseok Bridge and Bongsu-daero, the gateways to the world’s most special resort special city Royal Park City, with our self-manufactured Signature streetlights, and installed specialized lighting on the bridge’s main towers and the cables connecting them.” He added, “From the moment you exit Cheongna IC and enter Baekseok Bridge, residents can experience a city where everyday life becomes moving and restful without leaving home?a vibrant resort special city filled with nature, culture, and emotion.”

He also said, “Wanggil Station Royal Park City is fully prepared for the Noblian 40·60 A generation, who are health-oriented and have solid incomes.” He added, “A doctor couple living in Yongsan even visited the housing exhibition hall and immediately signed a contract. Wanggil Station Royal Park City accurately understands the tastes of the Noblian 40·60 A generation and offers full-option community facilities on a different scale, including the symbolic three-meal service of luxury apartments, swimming pools and fitness centers exceeding six-star hotels, and duplex indoor golf practice ranges.”

Furthermore, he said, “With the confirmed direct connection project of Seoul Subway Line 9, allowing direct travel to Gangnam without transfers, the transportation environment to Seoul has greatly improved. Royal Park City will showcase a different dimension of spatial revolution through the 5th generation high-end resort special city, turning various parts of the city into landmarks and developing it into the most special city ever?a new affluent area filled with nature, culture, and emotion where Seoul residents want to live.”
