Lee Jae-myung's 'Second Shot' Remark Divides the People... Smiles at Self-Praising Nomination Comments

"Satellite Parties Paving the Establishment's Path with Pro-North and Conspiracy Propaganda"

The People Power Party repeatedly criticized the Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung's 'second vote' remark, saying it "divided and belittled the people."

On the 10th, Ho Joon-seok, spokesperson for the People Power Party, said in a statement, "Although he belatedly apologized under public pressure, Lee Jae-myung's 'second vote' remark cannot be taken back," adding, "It is astonishing to see such perception in Lee Jae-myung's self-congratulatory remarks on candidate nominations."

Spokesperson Ho said, "He made rude remarks like 'You seem to have gotten a big head' toward the People Power Party, but raised his voice saying, 'Isn't the Democratic Party's nomination process fair, transparent, and producing revolutionary results?'" He added, "His hollow cry of 'I have never placed a close person anywhere' is laughable."

He criticized, "The bigger problem is that the Democratic Party is a proportional satellite party that has opened the doors wide for pro-North Korean forces to enter the National Assembly," adding, "They are paving a flower path toward the establishment even for groups like the Korean Federation of University Student Councils (Han Chong-ryun) and rumor-mongering agitators."

Regarding Democratic Party lawmaker Hwang Un-ha, who was sentenced to three years in prison in the first trial for 'Blue House-directed investigation and interference in the Ulsan mayoral election' and joined the Joguk Innovation Party, spokesperson Ho pointed out, "The Democratic Party is no different from an accomplice helping a criminal suspect use parliamentary immunity as a refuge."

He emphasized, "The general election is exactly 30 days away tomorrow," adding, "We will show through 'innovation' and 'change' that the Democratic Party, which does not hesitate to use even dirty hands for victory, and the People Power Party are different."
