Singer IU is showcasing her global influence as her world tour 'H.E.R', held in 18 cities worldwide including Seoul, has sold out.
According to her agency Edam Entertainment on the 9th, the 'H.E.R' concerts in Seoul, Yokohama in Japan, Taipei in Taiwan, Newark, Atlanta, Washington D.C., Rosemont, Oakland, Los Angeles in the United States, and Jakarta in Indonesia have all sold out.
The Osaka concert in Japan is currently conducting its second round of advance ticket sales until the 17th. Ticket sales for Singapore, Hong Kong, Manila in the Philippines, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, London in the United Kingdom, Berlin in Germany, and Bangkok in Thailand will proceed sequentially.
Edam stated that after the announcement of IU's world tour, not only domestic but also overseas 'Uaena' (IU's fandom) enthusiastically cheered, demonstrating the high level of global fan interest in her. Taiwan showed an explosive figure of 700,000 simultaneous accesses during ticket sales on the 6th.
Local Taiwanese media such as Taipei Report, CTS News, and TVBS News prominently covered related news, including 'Tickets sold out for Korea's national goddess IU' and 'Local concerts also implement real-name ticketing system to eradicate scalpers, just like in Korea.'
IU's North American concerts, which are her first solo concerts in the region, also sold out within 10 minutes. The ticket sales for Jakarta held the previous day recorded 630,000 simultaneous accesses.
Previously, IU held the first concert of the tour on the 2nd and 3rd at the Olympic Park KSPO Dome in Seoul. She will perform two more concerts at the same venue on the 9th and 10th.
