The candidates for the People Power Party in the Seoul Jung-Seongdong-eul district for the April 10 general election have been decided through a runoff vote between Representative Ha Tae-kyung and former Representative Lee Hye-hoon.
In this district, a three-way primary was held including former Representative Lee Young, who served as the first Minister of SMEs and Startups under the Yoon Seok-yeol administration, but it was reported on the 9th that no candidate received a majority of the votes.
Accordingly, Representative Ha and former Representative Lee proceeded to a runoff, while former Representative Lee Young was eliminated.
In Gangwon's Chuncheon-Cheorwon-Hwacheon-Yanggu-eul district, a runoff will be held between incumbent three-term Representative Han Ki-ho and former G1 Broadcasting CEO Heo In-gu.
In the Chuncheon-Cheorwon-Hwacheon-Yanggu-gap primary, 'rookie' lawyer Kim Hye-ran defeated incumbent first-term Representative Noh Yong-ho to win.
First-term proportional representative Jeon Ju-hye won the primary against senior party spokesperson Yoon Hee-seok in Seoul Gangdong-gap.
In Incheon Yeonsu-eul, former presidential office deputy spokesperson Kim Ki-heung defeated former Representative Min Hyun-joo in the primary to secure the nomination.
