President Yoon Orders "Full Mobilization of Available Personnel and Equipment" for Tongyeong Fishing Boat Capsize

President Yoon Suk-yeol received a report on the 9th that a fishing boat had capsized in the waters off Tongyeong City, Gyeongnam, and urgently instructed, "Mobilize all available personnel and equipment from the Navy, fishing boats, and others to do your best in rescuing lives."

President Yoon gave these instructions to the Minister of Oceans and Fisheries, the Minister of National Defense, and the Commissioner of the Korea Coast Guard on the same day, the presidential office spokesperson Kim Soo-kyung conveyed through a written briefing.
