Outstanding taxpayers are selected through the recommendation of district mayors and county governors and the review of the local tax review committee among taxpayers who have faithfully paid local taxes and contributed to the development of the local community through expanding local finances, social service activities, scholarship projects, and more.

Korea Racing Authority Let's Run Park Busan-Gyeongnam has played a significant role in expanding the finances of the Busan-Gyeongnam region by paying 3.1094 trillion KRW in local taxes from its opening in 2005 until last year through fair horse racing operations.

In addition, it has taken the lead in solving local issues through platforms addressing community problems and delivered warm support to the local community through social contribution projects such as rehabilitation healing riding and horse therapy using horses.

Eom Young-seok, Head of Korea Racing Authority Busan-Gyeongnam Headquarters, stated, “Despite sales declines due to the COVID-19 endemic, we have paid 337.2 billion KRW in local taxes to Busan City and Gyeongnam Province over the past three years, sharing sales profits with local residents. We will continue to contribute to local finances through faithful tax payments and lead regional development through various social contribution programs and family park operations.”
