For Hyundai and Kia, 22,803 units of 3 models including the EQ900 and 11,569 units of 2 models including the K9 will be recalled starting from the 13th due to insufficient durability of the engine oil supply pipe. The Porter 2 and Bongo 3 models can receive free repairs starting from today due to defective design of the fixing bolt in the engine drive belt tensioner. These apply to 13,457 and 7,653 units respectively.

BMW is conducting a recall since the 5th for 12,607 units of 34 models including the BMW X7 xDrive40i due to manufacturing defects in the integrated braking system (an integrated electronic and hydraulic brake system).

For Stellantis, 955 units of 2 models including the Jeep Wrangler PHEV will be recalled starting from the 11th due to a software error in the coolant heater.

Regarding the recall, each manufacturer will notify vehicle owners of the corrective measures via mail and mobile text messages. If a vehicle owner has already repaired the defect at their own expense, they can apply for reimbursement from the manufacturer. Whether a vehicle is subject to recall and detailed defect information can be checked by entering the vehicle number or chassis number at the Automobile Recall Center.
