Korea National Oil Corporation 45th Anniversary Ceremony and Blood Donation Event

Korea National Oil Corporation held a commemorative ceremony at its Ulsan headquarters on the 4th to celebrate its 45th anniversary.

The ceremony was held under the catchphrase "Strengthening Resource Security through the Full-scale Operation of the Gwanggaeto Project," and included awards for outstanding employees and commemorative speeches.

In his commemorative speech, CEO Kim Dong-seop of the Oil Corporation said, "Last year, as a result of the united efforts of all employees, we achieved net profit for two consecutive years," adding, "We must concentrate all our capabilities to produce tangible results for resource security and carbon neutrality leadership and to enhance financial soundness. Let us all successfully promote the Gwanggaeto Project so that the aspirations of oil-producing countries can be realized once again."

To commemorate the 45th anniversary, the Oil Corporation organized a meaningful event to share small acts of love with the public through a "Love Blood Donation" campaign.

The blood donation event, in which employees from the headquarters and branches voluntarily participate, is scheduled to be held over three days at the Ulsan Blood Center with blood donation vehicles provided on the 4th, 6th, and 7th. Domestic branches will conduct the event either by providing blood donation vehicles or through individual employee donations according to the situation of nearby blood centers.

The Oil Corporation plans to continue holding blood donation events with voluntary participation from employees to stabilize the blood supply directly related to the health of the public and actively participate in practicing a culture of sharing through blood donation.
