IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 4th that it has launched ‘Daechul Tongro BOX,’ a digital corporate finance service aimed at completely removing the barriers for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to apply for bank loans and enhancing financial accessibility and convenience.

‘Daechul Tongro BOX’ is a corporate finance digital service that combines the advantages of online and offline by allowing both corporate and individual business owners to apply for loans non-face-to-face, with branch staff promptly consulting with customers.

Users can apply for loans by searching for ‘Daechul Tongro BOX’ on internet search portals or by entering the URL directly into the browser to access the application page. Even those without prior transactions with IBK Industrial Bank can easily apply for loans.

When corporate customers agree to input loan application information and provide documents on ‘Daechul Tongro BOX’ and complete the application, branch staff promptly conduct loan consultations with the customers. In particular, individual business owners applying for non-face-to-face unsecured loans can receive up to 100 million KRW deposited into their accounts on the same day after non-face-to-face screening.

Thanks to the ‘Daechul Tongro BOX’ service, corporate customers’ burdensome tasks such as preparing documents required for loans are greatly reduced, and the inconvenience of corporate representatives having to visit the bank multiple times is expected to be significantly alleviated.

Kim Sung-tae, the bank president, stated that ‘Daechul Tongro BOX’ is “a service that combines the advantages of digital and offline channels to get closer to customers who still feel burdened by visiting banks or find it difficult to visit during business hours due to their livelihoods,” adding, “Small business owners and corporate customers will be able to use the bank’s services more easily and conveniently.”
