It has been reported that the KOSDAQ listing of eBroadcasting, the operator of the YouTube channel SamproTV, was not approved.
According to Yonhap News on the 29th, the KOSDAQ Market Listing Committee of the Korea Exchange decided not to approve eBroadcasting's listing.
The committee reportedly raised doubts about the sustainability of SamproTV's business model as a YouTube platform rather than an online platform.
If eBroadcasting disagrees with this non-approval decision, it can request a reconsideration by the KOSDAQ Market Committee.
Meanwhile, eBroadcasting submitted a preliminary listing review application last July through a merger with a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) to list on the KOSDAQ market. This decision was made about seven months after the process began.
