It was decided to create a self-discipline prevention culture in which both labor and management participate and practice. The company will implement one-stop safety management for non-resident high-risk tasks, expand on-site safety and health education, strengthen proactive accident prevention activities, and enhance the execution of safety and health activities. Through these efforts, the plan is to reduce the ratio of high-risk accidents to within 5%.
To restore customer satisfaction and trust, quality will also be strengthened. Management indicators for key control construction types will be further expanded, and concrete self-quality inspections will be increased. The quality real-name management system introduced last year will be digitized, and responsibility management will be expanded. The company will strengthen design and construction safety reviews at construction sites and establish a proactive technical safety support system by conducting technical reviews for high-risk construction types.
At the declaration ceremony, awards were given to outstanding sites and partner companies, and the 30th Safety and Quality Committee was launched. The Safety and Quality Committee, composed of about 50 representatives from partner companies, was established to create accident-free sites through the autonomous participation of partners and to improve construction site quality by reducing defects through self-quality inspection activities.
Choi Ik-hoon, CEO of HDC Hyundai Development Company, said, "This year, which marks the starting point for preparing for a new decade of leap forward, we will do our utmost to renew our management system and restore trust by strengthening safety and quality capabilities, including digital transformation and the quality real-name management system."
