The Tesla 'Cybertruck,' which faced quality controversies after its release, has repelled a car thief with its sturdy durability and surveillance capabilities.
On the 26th (local time), 'Teslarity,' a media outlet specializing in Tesla-related information, highlighted a vehicle theft attempt that occurred in California, USA. On that day, a thief tried and failed to steal a Cybertruck parked on the street and fled.
The footage is said to have been recorded through the Cybertruck's cameras. Marek, the owner of the Cybertruck, released the video and emphasized, "The Cybertruck is safe even in California. The bulletproof glass can withstand attempts to break in by jumping onto the sunroof."
In the video, the thief makes numerous attempts to break the Cybertruck's windows but frequently fails. Eventually, the thief climbs onto the vehicle to break the sunroof but fails again. Ultimately, the exhausted thief gives up on the vehicle and runs away.

Earlier, Tesla CEO Elon Musk emphasized the Cybertruck's 'bulletproof performance.' At its first unveiling in 2019, a prototype's glass shattered when struck by a large metal ball, causing some embarrassment, but it is reported that the glass durability was significantly enhanced afterward.
The Cybertruck is a pickup truck that attracted attention even before its release due to its unique angular design. It improved durability by using stainless steel material, but the production plan was delayed by two years from the original schedule due to challenges in realizing its distinctive design.
