This inspection activity was conducted as part of the '5th Fine Dust Seasonal Management Plan.' President Han checked the 'Seasonal Management Plan Implementation Status and Air Quality Management Checklist' while moving along the passenger flow from the entrance, and assessed the status of the 'Smart Air Quality Management System' that automatically controls air quality and the 'Wet Cleaning' method that removes fine dust from the floor using moisture.

KORAIL has been strengthening fine dust reduction and management policies from December last year to March this year, in line with the Fine Dust Seasonal Management Plan implemented by the Ministry of Environment, focusing on managing air quality in underground stations.

Daily station floor cleaning is conducted three times (previously twice), air conditioning equipment operates for 19 hours (previously 16 hours), and air purifiers run on 'high' airflow for 20 hours (previously 16 hours).

President Han said, "During the government-wide Fine Dust Seasonal Management period, we will carefully monitor the smart air quality management system and fine dust reduction measures to maintain clean air quality within the stations."
